Nobody is going to want to be your pawn.

Appreciate your ex. Saying “I want my ex back” is not enough. You need to truly understand why you want your ex back. What is it about them that you love? Make a list of the things you love about your ex so that you can gain an appreciation for them.

Avoid contacting your ex every day. Instead of harassing them, tell them that you know where the relationship went wrong, and are willing to try it again. Pestering them with phone calls begging for them to take you back is only going to make them get further away.
